What is Acupressure Cross Taping?
Cross Taping originated in Asia. A skin-friendly therapy treatment method utilizing gridded band-aid-like patches that are used for treating, inter alia, trigger points, pain points, acupuncture points and for stimulating meridians (energy pathways in the body). The purpose of the treatment, as with all energy treatment techniques (such as acupuncture and acupressure) is to assist the energy to flow again undisturbed and thereby stimulate the body's self-healing mechanism. In many cases, patients express an immediate improvement in mobility and a marked reduction in pain at the application site after adhering a CrossLinq® patch.

How do CrossLinq® Acupressure cross patches work?
Injuries, pain and trigger points disrupt body homeostasis and cause tissue stress. Blocked energy pathways create ‘dams’ of strongly charged pockets of energy. To locate one of these ‘dams’ of blocked or stored energy the therapist need only gently drag the CrossLinq® patch above the affected area of skin where an electrical potential difference is present. The CrossLinq® patch reacts by being automatically drawn downward to the skins surface.
The CrossLinq® patch once placed on the skin will absorb the electrical charge from the skin simultaneously eliminating the potential difference allowing the treated area to begin the process of self-healing.
